JOIN US for a day of spiritual, heart softening reminders and most importantly the opportunity to help and support our brothers and sisters inside Gaza and those who have fled Gaza seeking shelter in Cairo, Egypt.
We have the honour to celebrate our Palestinian mothers, sisters and daughters and learn from their strength, resilience, character and 'eeman. Let us come together and break bread the Palestinian way!

SPEAKERS PROFILES:
Shaykha Saleha Bukhari Islam
Shaykha Saleha is a UK-based scholar who specialises in Prophetic traditions, Qur'an & Tajweed, Fiqh, and Islamic studies. Shaykha is a Shari'ah graduate from the Ebrahim College seminary, and also a graduate of the Dawratul Hadith Programme which further specialised in the Prophetic traditions.
Shaykha Saleha has studied under many prominent UK scholars including Sh. Akram Nadwi, Mufti Barkatullah, Sh. Abdul Hakim Murad, Sh. Shams-Ad Duha, Sh. Sbini, Sh. Mujahid, Sh. Bhuta, Sh. Ashraf Zaman, Mufti Khalid, and Dr Ibrahim Harvey. She has received Ijaazah in Sahih Al-Bukhari and in Qira’a of the Quran.
Shaykha Saleha also has a BSc Hons in Computing studies and is currently close to completing the Professional Counselling Skills Programme.
Today, Shaykha Saleha is a Muslim Chaplain at the Canary Wharf Multi-Faith Chaplaincy working with the business community. In addition, she works as a Member of the Board of Scholars with several Sharia councils specialising in Islamic Marriage and Divorce. She also teaches Quran and Fiqh for adults at Q-Iman and Ebrahim College.
Shaykha appears as a guest and host on IQRA TV, TV One, and Channel S where she welcomes discussions around life and faith. She is also the first female to co-host the live Q&A show IslamiQA, on Islam Channel.
Shaykha Saleha is an advocate and believer in the empowerment of Muslim women through education and has delivered lectures and courses for the civil service, various universities, and the business community, including Morgan Stanley, Price Waterhouse and Deloitte.
Shaykha Saleha is married and lives in London UK with her husband and two children.
Ustadha Ruzi Khatun (Umm Talha)
Ustadha Ruzi is a British marriage and parenting coach with over 18 years of experience in working with the London community.
Married and a mother of one child whom she home educated. In her early years of married life, she travelled to study Arabic and Tajweed at the prominent Fajr Centre in Cairo, Egypt. She further enhanced her knowledge through Islamic Studies under the tutelage of various respected teachers and scholars.
Founder of Marital Arts, a non-profit organisation set up in 2016 to help nurture and empower Muslim women in the UK. She has completed her studies in Early Years Education and is currently a Director at Iqra Pre-school.
Ruzi is a trained professional in micro teaching. She has a natural ability to connect with people from diverse backgrounds and conducts various group workshops and one-to-one mentoring with her work focussing on promoting change through education and self-development.
Passionate about serving and empowering women within her community. Her purpose is to equip women with the knowledge and confidence to build strong foundations for a successful family life
Her charismatic leadership together with her vast knowledge and experience make her a well-respected pillar of the community. She has transformed and nurtured many lives through her outstanding initiatives.
Ustadha Ameena Blake (Sheffield, UK)
Ustadha Ameena is a Muslim scholar with a Masters degree in Islamic Studies. Other qualifications include: BA English Studies, PG in Teaching & MSc in Leadership and Management.
She is a Director of the Eden House UK (EHUK) - A women's refuge project. She also serves as a Chaplain in The University of Sheffield, South Yorkshire Police & lectures in Islamic Studies at Markfield Institute of Higher Education.
Ustadha teaches across the globe at, courses & conferences as well as on social media and is a regular on Islam Channel. She is an instructor for Al Balagh Academy, Roots Academy and the Lead Program.
Ustadha has sat on several Mosque boards over the past two decades and served as ASG of the Muslim Council of Britain as well as sitting as an Islamic advisor on various platforms.
She was given the Beacon Mosque, Most impactful Aalimah award in 2022 and is part of the Sheffield University Inspirational Women 2024.
